This is a collection of forty-nine poems in categories of Philoosophy, Satire, Esoterica, Love, and Africa.

The title poem, Ode To A Toad, is the oldest, written in 1962. It has appeared previously in international bulletins and in Dr. King's book, Urban Shaman. The poems in Esoterica are often related to the Huna philosophy. The Love poems are almost all dedicated to Dr. King's wife, Gloria, and cover a span of about 70 years. The Africa poems were written over a seven-year period when Dr. King and Gloria lived in West Africa, and they also appear in Dr. King's book, Yovo-Yovo.
